Sreeleela Biography
we are talking about an American Born Indian Actress, Sreeleela who was born on June 14, 2001, in Detroit, Michigan, USA, first of all and she is well known for her works in Telugu and Kannada Cinema. After her family had moved to Bangalore during her childhood, she was raised in this city in India. Swarnalatha is her mother who is a gynaecologist based in Bangalore.
From a very young age, Sreeleela had a love of the arts as she began her Bharatanatyam dance training at the age of 3 and then performed her Arangetram (first performance) at 8. So she decided to follow the path followed by her mother, also being in the final phase of her MBBS degrees as of 2021, as she followed the path of medicine in addition to acting.
In 2017 he started his acting career as a child artist. Her Kannada film debut lead was in Kannada film “Kiss” (2019) directed by A. P. Arjun, and received well. Then she went on to ‘Bharaate’ (2019) opposite Sriimurali.
Sreeleela made her foray into the Telugu speaking cinema in 2021 with a romantic musical ‘Pelli SandaD’ which got her praises for her performance. After “Dhamaka” (2022 with Ravi Teja, which was a commercial success
and also won her the South Indian International Movie Award (SIIMA) for the Best Actress (Telugu)), she continued to build her Telugu filmography.
Other notable works of hers : Ghantur Kaaram (2024) opposite Mahesh Babu, Bhagavanth Kesari (2023) with Nandamuri Balakrishna and Skanda (2023) with Ram Pothineni.
Apart from her films, Sreeleela is also well knowledg for her philanthropic work, she had adopted two differently-abled children in Feb 2022.
South indian film industry is recognised about her dedication towards the studies as well as craft and also her philanthropic activities.
