Shruthi Haasan (born January 28, 1986) is an Indian Contemporary artist who acts as an actress, singer, music composer in the film Bombay Times. She was born on January 28, 1986 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Kamal Haasan’s daughter, she is from renowned actors Sarika Thakur and Kamal Haasan. She is a Tamilian Brahmin Iyengar’s daughter and has Marathi and Rajput lineage. Akshara Haasan is also an actress, she is her younger sister. Shruti grew up in a family full of cinema and arts therefore, she was exposed to them from a very young age.

Early Life and Education

Following this, Shruti completed her schooling at Lady Andal School in Chennai. She pursued higher education and moved to Mumbai to study psychology at St Andrew’s College.
