The most versatile and highest paid actress of South Indian cinema is Nayanthara, who is often referred to as the ‘Lady Superstar’. Born on November 18, 1984, Nayanthara is the name given to Diana Mariam Kurian, born in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Early Life and Education
She was brought up in a Malayali Christian family. Her mother was Omana Kurian who was a homemaker and her father was Kurian Kodiyattu who was an Indian Air Force officer. Being her father’s job transferable, Nayanthara lived in different parts of India such as Gujarat, Delhi and Kerala. Having finished schooling in various army schools, she continued on to study the pre university course and then completed a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Marthoma College, Thiruvalla, Kerala.
