About Krithi Shetty

Krithi Shetty is an Indian actress who works in Telugu and Tamil cinema. She was born on September 21, 2003, in Mangalore, Karnataka; born and raised in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Her non-religious family clustered in Tulu language and both her father is a businessman and her mother is a fashion designer.

Krithi started out as a doctor aspirant, during her college years of which she shifted her interest to psychology. After modeling, she started her career by appearing in commercials of reputed brands like The Sleep Company, Idea, Parle, Blue Star, and Lifebuoy.

In 2021 she made her acting debut in the Telugu film “Uppena“, where she played the role of Sangeetha “Bebamma” opposite Panja Vaisshnav Tej. The box office of the film was over ₹100 crore and the film was a commercial success.

After ‘Uppena’, Krithi went on to act in a few films: ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ (2021) opposite Nani, ‘Bangarraju’ (2022) opposite Naga Chaitanya and ‘The Warriorr’ (2022) with Ram Pothineni. Besides ‘Macherla Niyojakavargam’ (2022) with Nithiin and ‘Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali’ (2022) opposite Sudheer babu, she featured in a couple of films. She debuted in the Tamil film Custody in 2023, alongside Naga Chaitanya.

Krithi has won Filmfare Award for Best Debut Actress and South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) for Best Female Debut. Tulu, Hindi, Telugu, English, Marathi, Tamil and Kannada are some of the languages, which she speaks fluently.
